DAP Perak

The internal conflicts in DAP should be listed as the main factor of the downfall of the Perak Government.

My focus today will be on the former Senior State Exco Datuk Ngeh Koo Ham and his cousin YB Nga Kor Ming.

The people should be aware of the administration which involves a pair of cousins in Perak that have caused great tension, not only among the EXCOs but also between factions in DAP.

Have you forgotten about the Batu Gajah issue that involves YB Fong Po Kuan quitting the 12th GE, Datuk Ngeh Koo Ham?

It was said that a DAP leader in Perak wanted to place his relative to contest in Batu Gajah because this Parliamentary constituency is a DAP stronghold and confirmed as a "safe seat".

If at that time YB Fong was pushed out successfully by you, I can assure you the people of Perak will hate you and the Batu Gajah people will bury DAP's hopes of representing them to Parliament.

YB Fong is supported by Malaysians from all walks of life, including the Muslims. Being a graduate from the Islamic International University further enhances her capabilities and popularity among the multiracial community in Perak.

The combination of Ngeh Koo Ham and Nga Kor Ming in Perak have caused uneasiness among the upper echelons of the Perak Government, which I suspect includes the royal household.

There were stories that the two of them yield the greatest power in the Perak Government. Rumours were also heading into my ears and my eyes that the Ngeh-Nga factor have caused conflicts and problems among ADUNs and MPs in Perak which include YB M Kula, YB Fong and YB Hee Yit Foong.

Perhaps DAP should consider Nik Aziz's advice to respect the royal decree from the Sultan of Perak and analyse the factors that contributed to the crumble of the Perak Government under Pakatan Rakyat.

I have words for the people of Jelapang. YB Hee Yit Foong is indeed guilty of betraying the meaning of democracy and the votes of the people of Jelapang who voted for her and DAP to represent them.

But the biggest problem does not lie in the actions of YB Hee who left DAP to become an Independent ADUN.

Pakatan Rakyat should investigate the claims that the policies of the Perak Government are favouring a particular race only and rumours that former Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Nizar Jamaluddin was merely a puppet of Datuk Ngeh Koo Ham.

I respect Nizar a lot because I know he can be quite a good Menteri Besar. He has the leadership and the qualifications.

Sadly, he chose to challenge the Sultan of Perak, an act which is classified as treason to the Malay Sultan.

DAP should stop the blame game. Sultan Perak is not the one you should consider challenging. Neither should Lim Guan Eng spend his time scolding and then sweet talk with Hee Yit Foong.

The Perak DAP's internal party splits and dominance of the State Government should be looked into.
