Najib : No stone will be left unturned

By now, everyone can see how divided the blogosphere is. One side claims that MACC and Barisan Nasional murdered Teoh Beng Hock, a political aide to Selangor Exco Member Ean Yong Hian Wah.

However, this side of the camp must really consider the question posted by Malaysian Mirror's writer - Nightmares for Khalid after Teoh's death (below are excerpts).

  • If indeed Teoh was murdered, like some people are inclined to believe, the question would arise: who is going to benefit from such atrocity?

  • Is it the MACC, which Teoh was helping in the investigations of the alleged abuse of constituency funds?

  • Is it the Barisan Nasional-led Federal government , which allegedly influence decisions by the MACC?

  • Is it the DAP, since the Selangor representatives being investigated by the MACC are largely from that party?

  • Is it the PKR or PAS, two dissatisfied allies of the DAP in the Pakatan Rakyat-led Selangor state government?

  • Or is it some ‘mafia’ groups that had allegedly infiltrated into the Selangor state government?

I hope everyone remembers that it was a PKR MP by the name of Yang Berhormat Wee Choo Keong who raised the issue that a Selangor State Exco Member is linked to the underworld activities - not a Barisan Nasional accusation or conspiracy plot.

And YB Wee has yet to reveal the identity of the Exco Member although he "teased" Teresa Kok and Ronnie Liu in his "Siapa Makan Cili, Dia Terasa Pedas" blog post. (Azmin Ali is quiet too)

This side of the camp has also been active in ridiculing other bloggers who raised questions like these - accusing them of not respecting Teoh's death, politicizing the issue etc.

Again, who is politicizing the issue ?

When in fact, now we have a People First, Performance Now administration that promises a thorough investigation with No Stones Unturned.

DS Najib, I have to say I was shocked but impressed that you met the Teoh's at the Prime Minister's Office in Putrajaya to hear out the family's requests and grievances.

I believe the Royal Commission Inquiry and the Inquest will be able to perform independently and with credibility based on the laws in Malaysia to serve justice for Teoh Beng Hock.

The Star is providing live coverage at the Inquest.

The lawyers of the family happen to be DAP leaders - holding a watching brief for the family at the inquest. Hmm.

Whoever it is that caused the death of Teoh, I don't care. I just hope that the law provides Teoh and his family the justice because it is indeed painful to lose a family member, what more to say a young son reaching his prime time in life.

Let the Inquest begin and justice served !

With the involvement of DAP leaders as the family lawyers, I do not expect the Inquest to be smooth and orderly, instead it will be a mess. They will turn the Inquest into DAP's political interest to score point rather than Teoh family interest to seek the truth. Undoubtedly Teoh's family have been inference to chose them, if those DAP leaders have merit, they should advise the Teoh family to opt for independent lawyers who does not have any political interest, only then the truth could be review.

For sure we will be entertained with more DAP's drama.

To truthseeker!

Think a bit lah! Do you think lawyers are cheap to get hire?
Do you think Teoh's family are rich and can hire a good "independent" lawyer?

Don't be stupid! There is no such thing as an independent lawyer!
A lawyer will work for the interest of his or her paymaster!

Just like you talking crap on behalf of your BN paymaster!

The inquest is just a wayang kulit for Najib and Gang to cover up their blunder. Polticising the issue? Is this blog not about political issues? So is this politicisng? I don't know but I do know for a fact that this blog has been to keen to defend the BN camp without rational reason.

For me, I 'll continue to see things as they are and hope not to be side tracked by pro BN or pro PR. What is apparent to me is that many unecessary deaths has happened in the hands of our govt institutions. For example -

1)high rates of deaths in the NS camps
2)those in police custody and died of suspicious events
3)in detention camps
4)a mongolian allegedly connected to the PM's aide killed by the police using explosive. Very suspicious indeed.
5)recently a political aide from the opposition who died in the MACC premises.

What is also apparent is that the death of democracy and dissent is happening rapidly with BN's ultimate goal of total dominance of the country's resources.

It bothers me immensely that educated people such as this blogger chooses to harp on political parties 'politicisng' the issue when in fact, he himself is doing the very thing he scoffs at. There is no point trying to stand on the high moral ground. Everyone is interested in the issue as it involves political parties. AT last count this blogger already wrote 4 articles trying very hard to defend BN though without valid reasons.

Anon,

Malaysian is willing to help Teoh's family food the lawyer's bill to seek the truth, all they have to do is advertise in the news paper and they will get more than what they ask for. Your argument that good lawyers are not cheap is a insult to the many professional and generous lawyers.

Your type have no substances but good only for provocation and to rubbish other people commentary that does not suit you. Take a good look at the mirror and see what type you make off and who is talking crap.

I think for truthseeker to give unsolicited advice to Teoh's family shows what a hypocrite he is. The level of maturity in truthseeker's comments is rather doubtful at best. Perhaps he has experienced similar incidents for giving such advice. As Anon said, he needs to think a bit.

To truthseeker,

There you go talking crap again!
Read carefully!
I never argued that good lawyers are expensive!

Am I provoking you??

I am merely responding to your bias and provoking assumption that the DAP leaders... "will turn the Inquest into DAP's political interest to score point."

So who is provoking who?!

Maybe you are the one that should go buy a mirror!

I am quite sure a BN cyber trooper can afford one!

Truthseeker really needs to think from this moment onward because he/she makes a grammar mistake without thinking. He/she should use "an insult" instead of "a insult" due to "A,E,I,O,U."

Truthseeker, whatever you are doing, please THINK and ANALYZE. Anyone above college level must proceed to a higher level of reading and thinking unless you are not. Based on the writer's article, it is obvious that he is bias. Why? You don't need me to explain much, try to read it over and over again. So, don't drop a judgment based on your opinion because people like to think that their opinions are supported by the "facts." This type of thinking will eventually cause a person to form their opinion first and devise the "facts" that support those opinions. Think about it.

By the way, if you didn’t notice it. You’re born into a world of politics. Everything is linked to politics whether you like it or not.
