With 15 MPs in Parliament, I read with great shock the statement by Datuk Loke Yuen Yow that a DPM II post should be created for MCA.

MCA must work hard based on merit, I believe. It is inappropriate to file demands when the Party remain fragile.

This will not be pleasing for MCA Elders to hear but MCA must try harder and reform to be people oriented not just for Elections but at all times.

Taking a look at the representation of MCA, Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak continues to deliver a 1 Malaysia promise for better voices of the plural society in Malaysia.

MCA Ministers (4)
  1. Datuk Seri Ong Tee Keat (Transport)
  2. Datuk Seri Liow Tiong Lai (Health)
  3. Datuk Seri Dr Ng Yen Yen (Tourism)
  4. Datuk Kong Cho Ha (Housing and Local Govt)

MCA Deputy Ministers (7)

  1. Datuk Chor Chee Heung (Finance)
  2. Datuk Wee Ka Siong (Education)
  3. Senator Heng Seai Kie (Information, Culture, Arts and Communications)
  4. Dr Hou Kok Chung (Higher Education)
  5. Wee Jeck Seng (Youth and Sports)
  6. Datin Paduka Chew Mei Fun (Women, Family and Community Development)
  7. Datuk Lee Chee Leong (Foreign Affairs)

The Malaysian Chinese Association continue to hold powerful portfolios in the Government of Malaysia. Although the Malaysian Chinese Association serve the Chinese community in essence, they have not sidelined their help for the other communities.

MCA's work and contribution not only to the Malaysian Chinese community but also to Malaysians of all races through the

1. Kojadi Education Fund (open to all Malaysians)
2. MCA Public Services & Complaints Bureau (Datuk Michael Chong),
3. Health care, housing and development, and many more

continue to receive recognition from Barisan Nasional component parties especially the Prime Minister of Malaysia.

It is now time to work on a 1 Malaysia and march ahead.

I just don't quite get it why by putting mukhriz in place it will only then advances BN youth wing's interest. Khairy can do it too anyway, but I don't know if it will be for better or worse.

People never say MCA has not anything but the perceived inequality faced by the society in term of the award of loan, contract and scholarship that tarnished all its previousachievements. Blame it on human nature to tend to look at the negative side and PR managed to play to it according to their rules.
